That would explain the rear engine. Not too many rear engined cars made it to Cuba so the options are pretty limited.

I was in high school during the Mariel b oatl ift of 1980, and even then, I was asking, “If Cuba is a place people want to leave so badly , why don’t we try to help make Cuba a place where the people will want to stay ?”
